Gahhhhhh!! Sooooo much to love in this. It is so **very Neal** to be trying not to cause a problem, and trying to be so helpful/considerate/thinking of others — and have it come back to bite him in the butt, at least initially. I love Peter and El in this, and how perfectly they know him and read him, even when he thinks he's "protecting" them by not calling, etc. The whole thing is just wonderfully perfect!!
