Dear Yuletide Writer!
Hello lovely writer!
Thank you so much in advance for writing something for me, and for reading this letter! This is my second year doing Yuletide, and I'm really excited! I love all these fandoms and I'm sure I'll adore whatever you come up with!
I've written a bit below about each fandom and some prompts in case you would like them :)
General DNWs: pregnancy and babies (except in The New Normal); weddings; unhappy endings; permanent breakups of my ships; main character deaths or references to them; different setting AUs (canon divergent AU is ok!); genderswap; trans headcanon; character/reader ship; first or second person narration; PWP; A/B/O; shibari; ball gags, hoods, whips and chains; kinks involving bodily fluids; fetish clubs; permanent body modifcation; fisting
General likes and kinks: I love fic that concentrates on the characters and their relationships. Hurt/comfort is always my go-to, and angsty fluff is great too. I like people working through difficult emotions and ending up better off, resolving insecurities or problems with sweetness and personal growth.
I love the following: protectiveness, possessiveness, taking care of someone, reluctant acceptance of care-taking, jealousy, UST. Getting-together fics, 5 times/5+1 times fics. I love characters who try to look tough and confident but are vulnerable inside. And I adore snark and banter!
If you are comfortable writing kink, my favourite is spanking and loving discipline. It be consensual or non-consensual spanking, discipline role play, stress relief or any other type. Even a quick swat or a threat will have my heart fluttering! I particularly love over-the-knee hand spanking with detailed descriptions of the event, e.g. the spankee's feelings about it during and after - is s/he embarrassed, conflicted, insecure, turned on, feels taken care of, all of the above, etc? Or the spanker’s thoughts leading up to it. I love reading about a couple deciding to start a domestic discipline relationship and how it develops and grows, or scenes from an already established relationship. (I'm not so keen on really harsh implements.) I love some cuddling and reassurance afterwards!
Other kinks I love: D/S (preferably with a bratty sub), kink negotiation, first time doing something for one or both of the participants, age difference, strength.
Falsettos: Marvin/Whizzer
I love this musical so much. My favourite iteration is the 2016 Broadway revival with Christian Borle and Andrew Rannells, whose interpretations of Marvin and Whizzer I adore (the pro-shot film of this is available online in various places including BroadwayHD if you want it, and can usually be found on Youtube under some sort of copyright-avoiding name!)
I love how complex and flawed these characters and their relationship is, and how much they grow throughout the story, and how hard they try even though they often get it wrong. I love that by early Act Two they have gotten to a place where they can restart, and learn to love and care for each other properly. I'd love to see them working through things once they've gotten back together. How are things different? How do they deal with all the old issues?
I am also interested in their problematic relationship from Act One. I would love to see some of the sweet, fun, soft or sexy moments from their first nine(/ten!) months together, because even though there were major issues, I think there was a lot of love under the surface and of course a lot of sexiness. The idea of that love and attraction conflicting with Marvin’s internalised homophobia and need for control, and Whizzer's insecurities and desire for independence, is a really interesting dynamic (ie. basically the Thrill of First Love). I don’t mind at all if the fic has some elements of their unhealthy relationship, particularly Marvin's need to dominate, but would like some underlying love.
I also like Marvin's awkward developing relationship with Jason, and Whizzer's super-cute and unique interactions with him, so feel free to add in Jason if you'd like! In fact, I love all the characters in the tight-knit family <3
Specific DNW: Whizzer's death is important but I'm not strong enough to deal with it atm, so I would prefer anything to be set either before his diagnosis (before More Racquetball) or in a modern AU where he can be treated, please! <3
Potential prompts:
I would absolutely love a fic where Marvin and Whizzer decide to practise domestic discipline after they get back together. Does Marvin try really hard to take care of Whizzer and become a god top? Is one of them reluctant to start the arrangement?
Or basically Marvin spanking Whizzer in any capacity. Does Marvin do it one time in the early days when Whizzer drives him mad? Is it under-negotiated but still hot?
I'd love to see anything where they have to look after each other. Perhaps one of them getting sick (not seriously) in the early days and the other one semi-reluctantly taking care of them?
A modern AU where Marvin takes care of Whizzer through his diagnosis
Whizzer and Marvin having to deal together with some sort of issue involving Jason – Jason being upset about something, or getting in trouble, or anything really. Just the little family unit of three working through stuff and figuring things out <3

Make It Or Break It: Sasha/Payson, Sasha & Payson (or Sasha & any of the other girls)
Ahh, I miss this show! I love Sasha, and his relationships with the girls as he grows to care for them and struggles to be the sort of coach and friend that each of them need. I love his dedication to them, his protectiveness, his integrity, his sense of humour, and his refusal to put up with any crap. (1x04 when he locks them in the gym for the day? Awesome).
I adore Sasha and Payson together so much, both as coach & gymnast, and also as potential romantic partners. I love Sasha's dedication to her and the way he helps Payson move forward after her accident, and how he makes her feel beautiful and protected. I'm interested in his potential feelings for Payson, when/if he realises he has them and the accompanying angst/guilt/soul-searching etc! As for Payson, I love her strength and determination and straightforwardness, her vulnerability, her burgeoning crush on Sasha, her innocence and and her insecurities.
I’d also be really happy to see more of Sasha interacting with any of the others, if you would prefer to write one of the other gymnasts. I love the scene early in the series where Emily does a trust fall with Sasha, and I was sad that we didn’t get to see Sasha and Emily talking more after he found out she had a job, or that she was pregnant. And I find Sasha and Lauren’s relationship really interesting (I love when she admits she leaked the tape). And Sasha and Kaylie’s relationship, both before and after her eating disorder comes to light.
Specific DNWs: Payson to be younger than 16; the words c-nt and p-ssy; Sasha to have no qualms at all about starting a relationship with Payson; Sasha and Payson to be married already
Potential prompts:
I would love a discipline fic with Sasha and any of the girls. For anything canon/risking their life with a gymnastics thing/practising dangerous techniques while alone/etc. This could be gen, or if it's Payson it could be the catalyst for them getting together later, or happen while they are romantically involved.
I'd love to see Payson and Sasha getting together, with Sasha having issues/reluctance/trying to restrain himself from falling for her due to the age gap and power imbalance, then eventually coming around to it.
Exploration of the power imbalance between Payson and Sasha? and how does their relationship affects her gymnastics? Training sessions with UST and pining; fiery arguments during training?

Sasha patching Payson up after getting hurt (physically or emotionally)

The New Normal: David/Bryan
This show is so adorable! Bryan is just the BEST. I love Bryan and David’s relationship and the way their personalities complement each other, and they look after each other and accept everything about each other. And I adore Bryan and Shania’s friendship.
Potential prompts:
My headcanon is that David and Bryan practice domestic discipline, so anything to do with this would be awesome (My preference is for David spanking Bryan but I could maybe see them sometimes switching). I'd love to see them starting the arrangement, or any scenes from within it. Or maybe having to explain what's going on to Goldie if she figures out something's happening! Or a Five Times fic to do with this subject would be super fun :)
