Screencapped Challenge (White Collar)
Most of my art for
landofart gets posted at theartshow, but seeing as this challenge focused only on White Collar I thought I'd put in on my journal in case my flist wanted some Neal pics to end their day with!
The challenge was to take screencaps from different scenes and enhance them. It gave me the chance to experiment with some different colourings which was fun (and varied in success)! Most of the caps are from 3x10 and 3x11.
The original caps are first, the edited caps come after, and all are thumbnails which should enlarge to 1280x720. If you want anything converting to icon/banner etc let me know. (And there's two whumped!Neal caps :D)

I struggle so much to colour White Collar caps to make icons it feels like they film with a washed out colour filter on the lens sometimes!

And yeah I know what you mean! I never really think it looks washed out when I'm actually watching it on TV but the caps can definitely come out that way!

And I agree with the comment above, sometimes their screencaps never have enough color to them. Well not to my own liking anyway.

Yeah, I had to give up on a couple of caps that were just impossible to get any color from! I think it always looks good on screen but it doesn't always translate to workable caps :\

I'm not very experienced at image editing, but I agree with what a couple people have said about recoloring WC caps being difficult sometimes. Not only can caps look washed-out sometimes, but sometimes I have trouble with the lighting in them.
