Just had my first trick or treaters! \o/ The dog wasn't impressed.

Going to watch episode 2 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina later to keep on theme. We watched episode 1 at the weekend and it was... Ok? Reserving judgement. I could have done with less spiders!

I would be happy to eat it for you haha :D We underestimated how many we were gonna get and had to go out for candy reinforcements halfway through! /o\ I think we had around 85 children in total, which is more than twice last year o.O

That's a lot!

I didn't get that many, probably under 50, but my neighbour across the road didn't get any. Just goes to show what a few strings of cheap Halloween lights and some balloons can do. I have 4 balloons left out of 30, so that's not bad. One balloon died a death, it didn't burst just went all floppy.

Still got candy leftover *sigh*

Yes, I could have done without the spiders.

Bardwell: He's terrified of spiders.
Sabrina: Oh, I know I'll do a spell that tortures him with spiders.
Me: Do we have to? Can't we find something else to torture him with? How about snakes? Or dogs? Or cats? Or fluffy bunny rabbits? Why isn't anyone in these shows terrified of bunnies? Why does it always have to be spiders? I can't watch the spiders.

Although this wasn't that bad. I was able to deal with it. Unlike Doctor Who which I deleted without watching.

The second episode was better I thought...it's uneven. Some episodes are good, some drag, some seem to be bit like True Blood meets Lynch.

Yeah, I had to keep my eyes closed during most of the scene. Yuck.

...I suppose Anya from Buffy was terrified of bunnies! :D

We watched the second episode and I still... just don't really know! Am I enjoying it? Am I bored or annoyed by it? Do I like any of the characters? (Well, I think I like Ambrose, but otherwise I'm not sure). I can't seem to make up my mind yet.

I think I will probably end up watching the whole thing anyway!!

Had exactly the same response to it. It reminds me a lot of Riverdale in that way.

I haven't decided if I'm going to continue with Sabrina yet. I watched the first episode and was underwhelmed.

Yeah, I was expecting better really. The second episode is fairly similar. I've found them both very loooong, maybe because they're an hour rather than the usual ~42 minutes for shows.

I think there's a lot of stuff there plotwise and atmosphere-wise that could be really interesting but the acting and characterisation etc isn't doing a whole lot for me yet and I found one or two things slightly problematic in the second ep. I think I like Ambrose though.

Let me know what you think if you continue :) I think I'm gonna carry on with it for a bit!
