Do You Like To Write? Like to write? Love Angel, Buffy, Dollhouse and/or Firefly? Great! There is a new challenge, called jossverse_las, where you write a fanfic of at least 100 words every two weeks based on a different prompt and where all pairings, including slash, is allowed! Then they get voted on and the person with the least votes is out that week and the person with the most is safe the next week till you have one author standing who wins! What do you win? A snazzy graphic and a $10 GC to Amazon or Barnes & Noble. You don't even need to be a GREAT writer! ..who will come out on top?

I've signed up for this. Which seems a bit stupid doomed bold, seeing as I've never written a fic for the Jossverse before. I adore Buffy and Angel (and to a lesser extent, Firefly and Dollhouse), but I've only ever written fics for Torchwood. However, when I saw there was a Jack/Ianto LAS, which wouldn't be ideal for me, and no Torchwood LAS, I figured the Jossverse was the way to go. If I'd read everything properly, and not just looked under 'T', I would have noticed the Whoverse LAS, which includes TW. Still, that'll have to be left til next time, cos I'm not doing two at the same time!

So, I'm pretty much expecting to go out in the first round, but hopefully it'll be fun and good experience. Oh, and, join me! Yay!

the whoverse looks like it's going to be a little later than the jossverse one - so maybe you could think about doing both. thanks for the link - it should be fun & nice to know someone going into it :D

Oh awesome, I'm so glad you've signed up! Maybe we'll end up accidentally voting for each other :D Didn't know you liked the Whedonverse too! I guess if the Whoverse one doesn't begin til the end of March I may well have been knocked out of the other one by then anyway, in which case I'll sign up!

Woah, 10??! That is seriously impressive! Are you doing jossverse?
I think there's a pretty good chance I'll do whoverse, I doubt I'll be able to resist as the sign up date gets nearer! And if I'm doing well in jossverse then I'll be all buoyed up and enthusiastic, and if I've done terribly then I'll want to redeem myself, so either way I'll be tempted! :D

Nope, I've never watched a jossverse program, I don't believe...

It's not too bad. I usually have 2 to 3 skips in each comm to use and of course, once you get eliminated you don't have to worry until the next round. LOL. I got eliminated on the first go round in abc_las with a Lost story, was a runner up in hboshowtime_las, I'm still in kink_las and movie_las, and made it to challenge 7 in twilight_las.

You've never watched Buffy? *encourages you to do so right now!* Of course, that might not be a good idea as then you might have to join further LASs :D
