Now that we've finally got rid of our very ancient CRT TV and bought one that doesn't take up half the living room and can connect to the internet, we've also decided to splash out on Netflix. £5.99 a month for OH SO MUCH TV. I'm never letting it go.

So I have new shows!

Orphan Black: I wasn't sure about it at first, and H refused to watch past the first episode due to the (admittedly very very) dodgy English accents. But he went to work, and by the time he got back I'd watched half the first season and was enraptured. Tatiana Maslany is incredible. It's so easy to forget it's the same actress in every role! And April has brought with it the arrival of season 2 on Netflix, so YAY.

Miranda: Why have I never watched Miranda before?! She is my soulmate.



Once Upon A Time: We've watched two episodes so far. I'm not sure what I think of it yet - I'd heard so much hype about it that I was expecting a bit more. I like the bits set in the town, and Emma and Henry are great, but I'm not sure about the fairytale sections. My favourite bit currently is Jamie Dornan and Emma/Sheriff, but IMDB informs me he won't be around too long.

And last but not least:

HOW GOOD IS COMMUNITY? WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME? WHY IS JOEL MCHALE SO FREAKING HOT?

Jeff/Annie!!! OH MY GOODNESS SERIOUSLY I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I CAN'T EVEN. I started shipping them really early and thought it was a hopeless cause, but then, but then, IT'S SO NOT AND THEY ARE SO ADORABLE AND AWWWW sometimes when they're on screen together I just squeal and bounce up and down on the sofa. I'm halfway through season 3 and trying to ration myself to one or two episodes a day so I don't run out too quickly.

If you watch Community tell me now so I can cling to you limpet-like.

It's a shame :( I like Jamie Dornan, and it was nice to see him in a role where he wasn't a serial killer/super creepy! (Although having only seen 2 episodes, I suppose it's possible he's evil in OUAT too!)

You are watching some awesome shows!! Orphan Black is completely amazing and Miranda makes me laugh so hard.

I used to be super into Community but I haven't been into it as much lately. The earlier seasons are definitely my favorites and I love all the characters though still!

The early seasons are my favourites too but that is probably cos they are the only ones I've watched :D But I'm dreading seeing some of the characters leaving. I don't want Troy and Abed to be separated o.O

I'm just finishing Community season 4 now! I LOVED season 2, but season 3 kind of went off the rails IMO towards the end. There were a lot of terrific episodes too, but it was very hit or miss at times with some huge misses for me. And I'm still trying to decide what I think about season 4 after hearing how terrible it is. A couple of episodes were trying too hard to be gimmicky and ~wacky~, but overall I've been enjoying the character interaction a lot this season and don't really get what people hate about it? Its main drawback is that it's only 13 episodes, so at times it feels a bit rushed, but I wonder if people would be so hard on it if it had the same number of episodes as season 3 got?

Heee! I actually just watched all of the new episodes on yahoo today too. Won't spoil you with my impressions but it was always nice to see characters I love again!

It is pretty sad to see so many of the main characters leave. I cried when Troy left, and the show is definitely a lot less with out him. I already miss the other character that left too (don't know if you know/don't want to spoil). I keep hoping they'll be able to bring them back for when the show actually ends at least.

I have never sought out Community, but when I do find it, I enjoy it a lot! I should really just commit to it already. There are a few shows I'm like that about (Parks and Recs, Brooklyn 99 etc).

I tried to watch OUAT, but after the first episode decided it just wasn't going to be for me. When I found out that Tom Ellis made an appearance, I almost reconsidered, but then it was just for one ep, so I decided against it.

You should definitely commit to Community :D (I love Brooklyn 99 too, but I've only seen the pilot of Parks and Rec and wasn't very impressed! I should probably give it more of a chance!)

I do not know how you are rationing yourself. I am terrible at trying to ration myself when watching stuff.

Joel McHale is hotter than hot. Sure, he looks good in suits. But he looks even better in casuals and with his shirt off. :D

It so great to find more people who ship Jeff and Annie like burning. I dont think I've ever been so invested in a fictional couple. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE TOGETHER AND BE HAPPY. :')

Ahhh I do love it when he takes his shirt off! We watched the one where he becomes all Hulk-like at the bar mitzvah the other day, and rips off his shirt, and Annie's eyes go all googly :D

We've nearly finished season 3 - we had a break over Easter cos we went to my mum's and there was no Netflix o.O I kept going to say 'shall we watch an episode of Community with dinner/before bed/etc' and then remembering we couldn't, it was traumatic!

Last night we watched 3x20 and 3x21 I think...the one where they take part in Pierce's dad's video game, and Abed spawns hundreds of baby Abeds who all say 'cool cool cool' :D
