'Default': This is the first icon I made and the only icon I had when I joined LJ. Given that Torchwood and John were my most recent obsessions, and I primarily joined LJ to be able to read and share TW fanfic and squee, it seemed necessary to have an accompanying Captain Jack icon. I picked this image because Jack looks all stern and sexy and in charge. Plus he's wearing the coat, so it's all good. My lack of experience in icon-making or photo programs means that the extent of my work on this amounts to... a crop.
'Jack and Gwen - sweet look': Jack and Gwen are one of my favourite ships and feature pretty heavily in my icons! I always think the expression bertween them here is adorable and can be interpreted so many different ways. I have to admit I don't use this icon as much as my other J/G icons though - the ones with them laughing in the doorway, looking up at the stars or sitting on the cliffside in Adrift.
'Glee - Rachel adores you': I couldn't resist snagging this icon. It's so sweet and Lea looks gorgeous -I have a total girl crush on her. It's super useful for using to commend anyone who writes fic that I love, or who helps me out with stuff. Or anyone who is just awesome.
'Post it - Jack/Ianto/Coat': I saw this image on one of xrai_namere's fab picture stories and couldn't resist making it into an icon to balance out the heavy Jack/Gwen presence in the rest of my icons. I use it for general Janto-related stuff, and it had a few appearances around the time where there was some worry in the TW community as to what Jack's coat might be like in Miracle Day!
'Rhys - fights': Another icon I made myself and did nothing to apart from cropping and - gasp - sharpening! I made this to make sure that I had a non J/G icon to use in general Rhys-shipping moments, as I do love him (and Kai!). I love the Children of Earth scene that it's from too.
