Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)



One of the great things about watching a series that lasts for seven years is that you get to watch the characters change and grow. Willow was pretty amazing to start off with: smart, sweet, brave and adorable. But her journey from insecure schoolgirl to incredibly powerful witch is a stunning one and she arguably has the most character development on the show. Yet despite growing up so much, she retains her sweetness, optimism and love for her friends. Along the way she re-ensouls a vampire, dates a werewolf, overcomes addiction and saves the world a few times, thus earning her both a place on my meme and the title of my official Favourite Slayerette.

Ah, Willow! Another character I pretended to be at times in the early years of the show :) Have to say her character didn't resonate as much with me in later seasons (then I could identify more with Buffy, or Tara), but I so loved her in the first 3 years, and her character development is incredible.

I oompletely agree with you. I think Willow did have the most characer development on the show. I find her storyline inspiring. :)

Me too :) I'm re-watching Season 6 of Buffy at the minute with my husband - he's seeing it for the first time whilst I'm seeing it for the ... 5th?! But it's still as good as ever and Willow just breaks my heart!
