Day 11: What is your dream pairing?
Jack/Gwen (TORCHWOOD)

Day 11: the day I've been waiting for! I can’t even express how much I want these two to get together. I love both Jack and Gwen as characters individually, and together they are just a mass of amazing, sweet, sexy, intense energy. During the first episode of Torchwood I fell in love with their relationship, and I can barely understand why it was sidetracked and then seemingly forgotten about by the beginning of series 3. I have high hopes for series 4 though. If and when the day comes that they get together, I’ll be shouting from the rooftops. And from my journal.

I liked the Jack/Gwen moment in CoE when Jack makes sure that Rhys knows that he knew Gwen was pregnant before Rhys did. That was kind of a dick move. But hot.

I'm hoping for some UST->RST in S4, too.

Hehe yes I loved that too! The expression on Jack's face after Gwen told him he should have kept his mouth shut was just brilliant. Definitely hot! And he was very sweet when he found out she was pregnant in the first place. But aside from that, COE was sadly lacking in the Jack/Gwen-ness. They were saving it all up for S4, I have decided!! :D

I, too, always loved Jack/Gwen :)

However, since she married Rhys, who has grown one too me too, and now they are having a baby, I doubt her and Jack are ever going to have a chance :(

It is tricky :( And I do adore Rhys too (much more than I used to). However I don't think Rhys is cut out for long term world-saving and I think Gwen will find it difficult to leave behind, so I can see the relationship having issues. And my favourite scenario is where Gwen somehow becomes immortal, stays with Rhys til he dies and then goes and spends eternity with Jack :D I know this is possibly the most unlikely thing anyone has ever said about these two, but...meh. I still want it!!

hehe, under those circumstances I'd be happy with this pairing, too. No killing off Rhys or getting him to spend his life on a remote island or something, but a nice life with Gwen, and only afterwards she's off. Yeah, I could easily live with that. You should propose this to RTD *gg*

Not that I don't think Gwen/Jack is a hot pairing (that pic^^ and the gun training prove that), but if Gwen got this when Ianto didn't, I'd have a sad:( A very big sad.:*(

Can I propose bringing Ianto back, him also becoming immortal and Gwen/Jack/Ianto going off into the sunset forever? They'd make a nice threesome.

(If you replace 'coat' with 'Gwen' in my icon, it will be much more relevant!)
And I would just love to see those threesome scenes in detail! Lucky Gwen...

Oooh, this is where I'll have to disagree. Not that I think they don't have great chemistry (the weapon's training? soooo hot!), but I love Rhys just a bit too much to wish for this pairing to become true.

I think the chemistry is seriously there & it is the stuff of my fanfic dreams, but don't think the show will ever literally go there - but I'm hoping that the attraction will be acknowledged more though.
I really love Rhys too, & I may be fickle - but I'd take Jack anyday.

And yay for happy Gwen/Jack icons - there aren't enough of them around so I was so excited to find one where they were both grinning!
