cookiegirlYes, I has one too... a Trope Bingo card! My first time playing in this particular bingo sandbox. I'd actually like to get a line on this, instead of forgetting about it like I did my last two bingo cards D:

Snowed in - due to weather Neal is stuck at Casa Burke, maybe it's during the early days when they boys are still getting to know each other, still a bit weary... and Neal is truly touched by the welcome he receives, not only Peter and El are not mad at having to put Neal up, they seem genuinely happy, there's dinner and movie night and a warm bed for Neal... it all just makes him feel so at home :D

Date: 2015-01-06 01:06 am (UTC)Accidental marriage: The day started quite normal - case briefing, speaking with witnesses, following first clues. But at the end of the same day, the extended White Collar crew had two pairs of newlyweds. (Peter/Neal, Diana/Mozzie)
mistletoe kiss: With June being out of the country for the holidays, Neal spends Christmas with the Burkes - and gets "conned" into more than one kiss.
bodyswap: while talking to a witness in their latest case, Neal and Diana swap bodies - which spells trouble on every front line.
mind control: Neal wasn't just a common thief and con man - he also has the power of mind control. Though he hasn't used that special power in years, he has to rely on it now - if he, Peter and Jones want to survive their current predictament.
huddle for warmth: while driving to upstate New York for the Burke family Thanksgiving festivities, Peter and El are in a car accident. They seek refuge in a small cabin with no heating, and while a frantic Neal coordinates a search-and-rescue back in New York, they try to survive.
secret child: set after Season 6, but with no Burke child. The call came short after Neal's funeral. In a rather matter-of-factly fashion, Sara explained Peter and El that she was pregnant with Neal's child when she moved to London, and now her life has made a 360 and she couldn't take care of the little girl any more. Long story short, the Burkes take the girl in, become her guardians - and overcome their grief for a dear friend (evtl. with reunion at the end)

I think the name comes from fic about couples doing domestic things like shopping for a pair of curtains for the house. But I think it can be any sort of established-couple-domesticky thing, like cooking a meal or something. You can interpret them however you want though, so if you fancy, err.... someone hiding behind curtains to escape from a spanking then I'm sure that's allowed :D (oh dear now I want to write that /o\)

Immortality/reincarnation: no matter how many times they meet throughout their lifetimes, Peter always ends up chasing Neal.
Poker/strip poker: Mike has a perfect memory. So does Neal, though. Who ends up naked? *g*
Curtain fic: you definitely have to have Neal hide behind a curtain to avoid a spanking! LOL!
De-aged: Mike was a handful on a daily basis. Harvey never thought it could get worse...until he met Little Mikey...

She goes to Giles, but he says it's a dicey spell with too many variables. She decides to try it anyway, and turns herself into a cat. Hilarity ensues. Once Giles fixes her, he's quite displeased with her behavior.
Mistletoe Kiss - Torchwood - Ianto invites Jack to his mate's Holiday party. Ianto arrives first, and latter when Jack arrives, he see's Jack kiss another man under some mistletoe. At first Ianto smiles, but then the kiss continues for a long time, and he gets jealous and pissed. Ianto is bratty, Jack takes him to a private room to get to the bottom of it, and gives him some swats.
Curtainfic - White Collar - Neal is his usual self and puts himself in danger during a case. Peter takes him home, and tells him to wait on the couch while Peter calms down enough to punish him. Peter goes to the kitchen, and Neal hides behind the curtains to delay the inevitable.
au:Space - Suits - just because it's the most outlandish for space. Harvey is first mate on a space ship, and Mike is a stow away. Captain Jessica considers dropping Mike off at the next port, but Harvey sees something in him, and wants to keep him. Jessica says he's Harvey's responsibility if he messes up. Of course Mike messes up and Harvey has to deal with him. (I dislike AU's in general, so that's probably a sucky idea. LOL)
Accidental baby acquisition - Angel - Angel sends Gunn and Fred on a case to kill some vampires. They go do the job, and when they're driving home, they find out that someone has put a baby in the backseat. Hilarity ensues.

Hee I definitely have to write curtain fic now :D Am I right in thinking you prefer adult-Neal spanking stories rather than de-aged Neal?
I'm not a big AU fan either (or a big space fan, Firefly excepted), but I actually like this idea. Harvey would be super hot in space :D It would definitely be a challenge! Hmm...what could Mike do to mess up? *contemplates*

Well Mike is a stow away because he was trying to sell drugs, and almost got caught by the authorities. Harvey tells Mike that they run a legitimate shipping vessel, and if he wants to stay aboard there will be no more selling drugs. But at the next port... Mike tries to get rid of the rest of his stash. Or something else entirely! LOL

Presumed Dead - White Collar - They're on a case, Neal suggests sneaking into a warehouse to plant a bug. Peter says no. Neal does it anyway. A few seconds after he enters, the whole place explodes. Peter is distraught, sure that Neal is dead, but they find him safe and sound in the basement after digging up the rubble to look for his body. Peter gives him a hug, and then some smacks.
Mind Control - Angel - Wes starts acting secretive. Angel surreptitiously keeps an eye on him, and finds him taking information to Lilah. He plans to confront Wes when she leaves, but then he sees Lilah do something magical to Wes. When he tells Wes about it, he can't remember it. Wes does some protective magic on himself, and the next time he sees Lilah and she tries to do it to him again, he surprises her by pulling her over his lap.
Handcuffed - Suits - Mike tries to bribe someone, but it backfires and they have security handcuff Mike to a bench while they call the cops. Mike calls Harvey, and Harvey gets there before the cops. Harvey tries to smooth things over, but that only ends up with him getting handcuffed to Mike while they wait for the cops. Harvey hears the whole story from Mike and is furious. He says he ought to spank him. Mike laughs nervously, and says it's a good thing they're handcuffed together so Harvey can't. Harvey glares, yanks him over his lap, and then spanks him. (Okay really I just think it's a hilarious image to picture two people handcuffed together and one trying to spank the other). :)
de-aged - Buffy (season 2 or 3) - Xander starts dating a 'nice girl' who turns out to be a witch. He stands her up for a date because he's helping Buffy, and then has to make up some lame lie for why he missed the date. She finds his behavior childish, and turns him into a five year old during lunch. Buffy finds him and takes him to Giles. Normal five year old antics frustrate Giles, and he ends up swatting him before they can change him back.
Immortality - Torchwood - Jack is reckless on a case, Ianto gently scolds him for it later when they're alone. Jack scoffs and says he's immortal, so it doesn't matter. Ianto takes issue with that point of view.
